London 2009 ESF Awards

This year sees the launch of the inaugural London European Social Fund (ESF) Awards at City Hall on 26 October 2009. The Awards will showcase the talent and skills and employment-related achievements of people and organisations in receipt of ESF across London.

The London ESF Awards 2009 is a joint initiative between the London Development Agency’s European Programmes Management Unit - who manage ESF in London; and the five London ‘co-financing’ organisations that fund ESF projects: the Department for Work and Pensions, Learning and Skills Council, London Councils, the London Development Agency and the National Offender Management Service.

Nominations are invited for six ESF awards:

• ESF Participant of the Year (20 years +)
• ESF Participant of the Year (14-19 years)
• Personal Achiever of the Year (20 years +)
• Personal Achiever of the Year (14-19 years)
• Outstanding Mentor/Tutor/Employment Advisor of the Year
• Employer of the Year

The closing date for nominations is 18th September 2009 at 5.00pm. Any entries received after this deadline will be rejected.
